Brunei's own death metal legend Grotesque was first baptised as Descending Horror somewhere in 1992 - 93. Home to some of the most deadly metal legends, Kuala Belait witnessed the incarnation of Grotesque with the release of Forgotten & Dismal demo tape in 1993. After this, the band went on a long hiatus beginning from 1996. After long period of silent slumber, in 2009 Grotesque rose once again; entering Victorious Record studio to rework and record their old demo track 'Let Me Fall' released independently to unsuspecting metal fans.
