Some of the songs on this album have been covered by myriads of dedicated cult following with one being featured in Fenriz own compilation release. Standing strong alongside fellow skullcrushing goatlusters Beherit, Blasphemy are a band that made Bring Me the Horizon shitted their pants!

I actually have owned this for a really long time, but the album is HIGHLY recommended. Think early Beherit but muddier

ReplyDeleteIn fact, these guys influenced Beherit: Marko Laiho said that when he received "Blood Upon the Altar" demo, decided to play like this - there are early Beherit photos were they wear Blasphemy t-shirts!
