Necrophobic - (1997) Darkside [Hammerheart Reissue]

If you haven't known this band but claimed yourself to be a metalhead, then you had better shoot yourself already. This is not for the weak of heart and surely not for poseurs. A legend by birth, Necrophobic are a band that had long career behind them. Often times their music is somewhat a cross between Dissection and Decameron while drawing heavier elements from both formations. Darkside is somewhat interesting and one of the songs with the title 'Nailing the Holy One' has guest vocal done by late Dissection frontman. At the same time, the song pays homage to their father figure Slayer by borrowing the ever iconic riffs from the song Raining Blood. Surely, this album is a must buy! Fuck poseurs!
