Introduction is unnecessary. Immolation have always been my personal favorite ever since I first listened to their epic masterpiece Close to a World Below. From then on, I began in depth excavation on the band back catalog. With Shadows in the Light, these New Yorkers continued on to experiment with multiplexed riff yet straightforward in delivery. This self rip version is extracted from POSH095PROMO @ CD. The only strange thing is how the CD ended up in my slipcase edition from Listenable Records. Am I being sabotaged? Well, fuck poseurs, buy the original!
