Here is a thrash metal band from the shores of Sabah. This demo offers a very solid performance that caught me by surprise. There's a lot of tremolo-picked melodic solos with occasional tappings. At first, I thought this demo is just going to be another meaningless byproduct of thrash wannabes. After listening to all four songs, I was quickly blown away by Tormentor's performance. Despite not having anything new to bring to the table, this thrash quartet's first effort is top notch. So yeah, grab a copy if you can and support this politically incorrect band!
